Ingredients

Broccoli florets 180gm

Flour 30gm

Corn flour 30gm

Chopped Onion 20gm

Chopped spring onion 10gm

Chopped green chilly 5gm

Schezwan sauce 45gm

Method
1. Blanch the broccoli for 40 seconds and then place in ice water to stop the cooking.
2. In a bowl mix the flour corn flour salt and pepper with water to make a thick batter.
3. Heat the oil for frying, to a medium heat, take the broccoli and dip in the batter and place in the oil to fry. Fry till the batter is golden brown and crispy.
4. Remove from the fryer, drain the excess oil and place in a plate lined with paper.
5. In a pan add 20ml of oil, then the chopped onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli and stir fry for a couple of minutes.
6. Add in the schezwan sauce and cook for another minute. Add 50ml of water and cook for a minute (or till the sauce is a thick) add in the fried broccoli. And toss till the sauce covers the broccoli.
7. Plate it in a nice platter and garnish with the spring onion. Serve it hot.
