Ingredients:

Pearl millet – 80 gms.

Split moong dal – 80 gms.

Salt – To Taste.

Ghee – 10 gms.

Cumin seeds – 2 gms.

Asafetida – 1 gms.

Turmeric powder – 2 gms.

Degi Chili Powder -

Onion – 30 gms

Garlic – 20gms

Green Chilies – 8 gms

Tomatoes – 40 gms

Fresh Coriander – 8 gms
Method:

Mix the millet and the moong dal wash and soak.

Pressure cook it until done.

Heat ghee in a pan, add asafetida, cumin seeds, turmeric powder.

Add the chopped garlic, chopped onions, tomatoes and green chili and cook further.

Add the cooked millet-lentil mixture to the prepared tempering.

Season and finish with chopped fresh coriander.
