Ingredients;

·  Bacardi-60ml

§  10fresh basil leaves, 4 lemon wedges, pomegranate seeds,

§  Simple syrup, ice cubes, club soda, pomegranate juice

This pomo basil mojito recipe is a takeoff of the traditional mint mojito. It looks beautiful and tastes great...either with or without rum. It’s a very refreshing drink that isn’t too sweet and tastes delicious…an excellent choice for a hot summer day.

Method:

Place basil leaves lemon wedges and pomegranate seeds in a glass.
Use a muddler* to gently push down on the leaves for about 10 seconds. Fill the glass almost to the top with ice, add simple syrup.
Pour in white rum and fill the glass with club soda. Add Grenadine Syrup or pomegranate juice. For garnishes, I use a couple of basil leaves plus a couple of raspberries.
