GOVERNMENT LIAISON & REPRESENTATIONS

  • HRAWI maintains liaison on member’s behalf with different authorities and agencies for an effortless and easy public relation to maintain an image of the Hospitality Industry, while also maintaining liaison with Tourism and Related Departments in the Western Region States / UT and the Centre.
  • We collaborate with State / Central Governments for promoting foreign and domestic tourism and safeguarding the interests of the Hotel and Restaurant Industry.

LEGAL & STATUTORY COUNSELLING

  • HRAWI maintains fair standards of Membership Services, observing professional ethics and by providing guidance to the Member against unscrupulous operators. Also, legal counselling and legal assistance on tax and Industry Related Matters.
  • HRAWI provides guidance to Members facing any issues pertaining to Copyright Licenses such as IPRS, PPL, Novex, Excise, GST, etc., to reply against the notices received by the Member or else if required on behalf of Member, HRAWI represents issues through legal counsels, etc.
  • HRAWI also shares statutory data and other information relating to the Industry.

STATE & NATIONAL POLICIES

  • HRAWI regularly updates its members with various State and National policies for a Hospitality Industry which includes advocating for streamlined licensing and taxation processes, supporting workforce development and fair labor practices, promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible practices, and collaborating with government agencies on tourism promotion and crisis management plans.

MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT CARD (ONLY FOR HOTEL & RESTAURANT MEMBERS) AND CERTIFICATE

  • HRAWI issues a 20% discount card to two nominees of a Hotel or Restaurant Member on a reciprocal basis. The cards are non-transferable are issued only to the functional Hotels & Restaurants and are governed by the Rules & Regulations stipulated by HRAWI.
  • Membership Certificates are issued to Members for display in their Establishment.

EAZYDINER PRIME MEMBERSHIP

  • HRAWI while continuously evolving and thinking of new ways to be of service and offering value proposition to the Members has partnered with EazyDiner which provides a variety of restaurant services, such as deals, discovery, reviews, table bookings and concierge services.
  • Each Member Establishment across all categories shall receive 2 EazyDiner Prime Memberships costing INR 7,100 + 18 % GST upon renewal of their HRAWI Membership.

  • The HRAWI Website https://www.hrawi.com will help you know about the current affairs such as the forthcoming Seminars, FSSAI Training Programs, Fire Marshall’s Training Programs, etc.
  • It is updated with information pertaining to other Member Establishments.
  • It also has copies of the Published HRA Today Bi-Monthly Magazines.

SEMINARS

  • HRAWI arranges meetings, seminars, Trade Shows and Regional conventions, through a forum that inculcates exchange of ideas and information.
  • HRAWI organizes regular workshops and seminars on recent and relevant topics such as FSSAI, GST and other subjects with industry experts.
  • HRAWI held its 19th Annual Regional Convention, 2022 in the city of Nashik, Maharashtra from 7th to 9th October, 2022. Over 300 delegates attended the Event to Inspire, Network and Celebrate our Industry post the pandemic.

FSSAI TRAININGS

  • From the year 2017, HRAWI till date has conducted 73 Food Safety Training and Certification Programmes and have trained 2686 participants.
  • This training is mandatory as per FoSTaC guidelines for all the food handlers in the Hospitality sector. HRAWI takes the lead for training these participants across 5 states of Western India - Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh and Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
  • Members get access to these trainings on privileged rates.

CLASSIFICATION

  • HRAWI & FHRAI provides proactively state/city representatives for attending the Classification Inspections duly conducted by Ministry of Tourism (India Tourism). This extends the support to the property or Hotel Owner for necessary Classification of Star Category.

HRA TODAY BI- MONTHLY MAGAZINE & MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

  • HRA Today is a bi-monthly magazine which assures favourable public opinion by contributing articles and vital statistics of the industry and by utilizing available public media in showcasing the industry’s role in the National economy. The magazine also covers information on various happenings at HRAWI and in the Western Region.
  • HRAWI Newsletter is very interesting read sent to the Members every month to keep them abreast of Industry and HRAWI updates.
  • HRAWI Newswrap is a weekly wrap containing Industry News, Appointments, Latest F & B Trends, Hotel Mergers and Acquisitions, Industry related products and services.

HRAWI ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP GRANT

  • The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) Scholarship Trust for Catering Education is happy to announce grants for Scholarship, for children of employees of the Member Establishments, who wish to pursue a career in Hospitality and accordingly invites applications for grant of Scholarship for 1st and 2nd year students. The Scholarship Grant is also extended to children of employees, who are pursuing studies in other streams, too.
  • Employees requiring financial assistance for their children who are studying at the Institutes of Hotel Management in Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, are invited to send in their applications as also children of employees who are pursuing their studies in other streams.
  • After vetting of the applications received, the Trust bears a portion of the amount of tuition fees, payable by the deserving Students to the Institute of Hotel Management directly, at which he / she is studying. Interested and needy students, submit their application, giving full details including a certificate of financial status of their parents, educational and extracurricular achievements, total annual tuition fees payable, etc.
