Greetings in the 67thyear of the Hotel & Restaurant Association Western India!
We are pleased to inform you, that your Association is once again organizing a Seminar on “Tax Matters and Updates in the 2018 / 19 Union Budget”, at The Ambassador Hotel, Churchgate, Mumbai on Monday, 05th February, 2018 at 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
You are aware that the Taxes form an important and integral part of any Establishment. In order to understand and avail of the implications of the proposed Taxes in the Union Budget 2018/19 which will be presented by the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley, on 01st February, 2018.
Your Association has again requested Mr. Anil Harish, an eminent speaker, who has had varied experience and who specializes in the Tax matters to make his presentation on the updates in the Union Budget 2018/19. The Interactions / knowledge shared by Mr. Anil Harish would help your Organization to understand better the implications of the Union Budget, the Taxes levied, etc.
The Union Budget remains the most important financial tool through which a Government can communicate its fiscal and economic policies to the public. Its importance cannot be overstated. It indicates how much the Government plans to spend in a year on key areas like Infrastructure, Agriculture, Education, Tourism, etc. It also talks about the increase or decrease in rates of Taxes and Duties which are a source of Revenue for the Government. This statement of Revenue and Expenditure of the Government directly / indirectly affects the common man, because the Government collects revenues from the Public and spends them for Society at large.
To defray the expenses of organizing the Seminar, a token contribution of Rs. 600/- is payable. I have to request you, to please do depute your Executives for this Seminar, which will be of great value to your esteemed hotel. I look forward to your immediate registration, since the number of participants for the Seminar is restricted to 50 persons only.
The Association requests the Establishment members to please attend this Seminar in order to reap the benefits of Mr. Anil Harish’s advice on the said subject.
